Egg Drop Soup


Algharbia farms egg drop soup recipe

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • Chopped green onions
  • ¼ teaspoon white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/3 cup cold water

Preparation:

  1. Heat chicken broth and green onions in a pot over medium heat
  2. In a bowl, mix in sugar, soy sauce, cornstarch and 1/3 cups of cold water until smooth
  3. Reduce heat under chicken broth and stir in soy sauce mixture
  4. Boil soup on high heat for 1 minute, then reduce heat to medium – low
  5. Beat 3 eggs with 2 tablespoons of water, stir egg mixture into the soup and cook until eggs are opaque (2 – 5 minutes)
